Stryde Reading Pillow with Arms

Description

Reading or watching television in bed usually means building a tower of pillows that collapses within the hour, leaving the back, neck and shoulders to do the work. The Stryde Reading Pillow with Arms replaces all of it with one shaped backrest: a tall supportive back, two padded arms to rest the elbows on, and a stable base that stays where you put it.

The shaping is what makes a long session comfortable. The back panel holds the shoulders upright without forcing them forward, the arms stop the body slumping to one side, and the height is judged for sitting against a headboard or the arm of a sofa. It suits reading, laptop work, gaming, feeding a baby, convalescing, or simply lounging in a shared living space. The arms are wide enough to hold a book, a tablet or a mug of tea without the elbows sliding off, which is what usually ends a long reading session early.

Resilient fill keeps the structure from compressing flat, the soft outer cover removes for machine washing, and a carry handle makes it easy to move room to room or stand against a wall between uses. It is a comfort and lounging product rather than a clinical seating support.
